Notice
Privacy Statement
It has come to our attention that some former
classmates may have been reluctant to check in by either signing the guestbook or emailing
the webmasters due to privacy concerns. Because of this, we have decided to
enumerate the privacy policy we already had in place:
- We will NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, sell, loan,
trade, make available, offer, or otherwise disclose our private email addresses!
- Any classmate may, at any time, request his/her email
address to be stricken from the class list email page for any reason.
- We will honor the wishes for any classmate not wanting to
have his/her email address published. The class list email page is only a courtesy
to allow classmates to get in touch with each other.
- Under no circumstances will we ever use any email address
we maintain, for unsolicited commercial email (SPAM).
- All subscribers' addresses on the email
discussion list are private and their email address CANNOT be harvested from
the list. ONLY by posting, can you ever reveal your email address. If
you wish to post anonymously, I will be glad to post a message for you.
- Spammers CANNOT post to our email discussion
list. Only subscribers may post. If this policy ever becomes a problem, I will
change the policy to make subscription requests and postings "approval
required."
- If you wish to add another layer of privacy to your
personal email address by creating a new address from one of the free, dedicated email
providers (i.e. Hotmail, NetAddress, iName), this is permitted, even encouraged.
These email addresses are disposable and easily replaced.
If you have any privacy concerns which were not answered in
this statement, I encourage you to email myself or Ron and voice your
opinions. We will be happy to discuss your concerns and try to make any special
arrangements you may need. All correspondence will be kept in confidence.
